After a proud and successful 66 year history based in the Mayfield area the Easts Rugby Club in 2007  started a new and exciting chapter in the clubs illustrious journey moving to secure the club’s future and further nurture and promote the game of Rugby Union in the Newcastle and surrounding suburbs. To this end Easts moved its base to bigger and better facilities at Hexham oval with the generous backing of the hugely successful adjoining Hexham Bowling club.

2007 was a new beginning for the club and provided a handful of challenges and opportunties.  One year on the club is already reaping some great benefits from the move.. 

This season Easts have secured the service of a new vibrant coaching team and a new young committee that is determined to take the club to even greater heights. 

To our supporters, players, officals and sponsors thank you for making 2007 a great season, we look forward to repaying you with an even better season 2008.
